Ash's Nu-Clear Sounds captures the Northern Irish trio at a creative reinvention, blending their signature guitar-driven energy with expanded sonic experimentation. Released in 1998, the album showcases Tim Wheeler's songwriting maturity whilst maintaining the infectious vitality that defined their earlier work. The album was the first to feature new member Charlotte Hatherley on guitar.
