Telefís - a Do (Dimple Discs)

Telefís is a collaboration between Cathal Coughlan (Microdisney, Fatima Mansions) and Jacknife Lee (ex-Compulsion and producer for U2, REM, Modest Mouse). Their second album ‘a Do’ represents an intriguing entry in contemporary experimental music, with a distinctive artistic vision and unconventional sonic exploration. This release showcases the band's commitment to pushing boundaries within electronic and avant-garde frameworks, featuring innovative sound design and thoughtful compositional approaches. Highlights include ‘Swinging at the Hypnodrome’, ‘Space is Us’, ‘Hare Coursing in Mayfair’, ‘The Age Of Cling (with Will Sergeant)’, ‘Strawboy Supernova’, and ‘The Carthaginians’.
