Temps - Party Gator Purgatory (Bella Union)

Temps delivers a visceral exploration of experimental rock with ‘Party Gator Purgatory’. The band is a 40-strong international music collective, fronted by a cartoon alligator. Featuring Quelle Chris, John Dieterich, Joana Gomila, Laia Vallès and Seb Rochford, Temps' ten-track debut, 'Party Gator Purgatory' was produced, curated and devised by comedian James Acaster. This album showcases the band's distinctive approach to composition, blending unconventional song structures with raw instrumental prowess. Each track navigates complex arrangements and dynamic shifts, creating an immersive listening experience that rewards close attention. Highlights include ‘Lookaliveandplaydead’, ‘PartygatorRIP’, ‘At (moves)’, and ‘I Could Just’.
